Caldwell Public Library’s Friends group is hosting their annual Ice Cream Social July 9^th 5-8pm in the Dean E. Miller Community Room.  Please join us for an evening of ice cream, cake, cakewalk and cake auction. Tickets can be purchased at the door.   For more information please contact the library at 459-3242. 

                              CHANGE IN POLICY: PLACING HOLDS
                                              MAY 1, 2009

Due to the increase in the number of holds, constrained budgets and hiring freezes in some of the LYNX! Libraries.

HOLDS ARE LIMITED TO 5.

All current holds will be honored.

Reducing the number of holds allowed per card will enable the consortium to continue to offer free holds.

We suggest that you use MY LIST, a feature in the library catalog, to keep track of the holds you wish to place.

                                           MY LIST

This feature of our catalog will help you keep track of the items that you may want to place on hold.
Login to the catalog using your card number and your pin.
Search for the item you wish to add to your list and select the record.
Just above the COPY/HOLDINGS information click ADD TO MY LIST.
Lists do expire, but each time you go to MY LIST, the expiration date is revised.
You may create as many lists as you want and give each a unique name. 
You may place holds directly from the list.
