April 30th @ 3 - 6 El Dia de los Niños (the Day of the Chlildren).  A community-wide celebration full of games, entertainment and prizes for children.  Held at Serenity Park in front of the Caldwell Public Library.  Like all library programs, this event is free to the public. 

May 14th@ 2 - 3 p.m. Homeschoolers' Bookclubs. Three diffeent clubs for different ages meet once a month during the school year. Beginning Chapters 7 - 8, Juniors 9 - 11 & Homeschoolers' (Teens) 12 and up. Please contact Kimbre, Children's Librarian, for the Beginning Chapters' & Juniors Clubs and Annie, Teen Librarian, for the Teen Club. Preregistration is required. The clubs run from Oct. - May.  This is the last meeting of the year.  Beginning Chapter's book is Hey Dude Where is My Spaceship by Dan Greenburg, and the Junior's book for this month is Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke.  Books will not be behind the circulation desk after April 28th, but may be obtained at the library or by placing a hold. 

The next American Girls meeting is May 24th @ 4 - 5:30 p.m.
